What happens if I have a discount code active along with a Fan Pass discount?

There are two scenarios that can occur when a customer tries to apply a discount code at checkout whilst a Fan Pass discount is active depending on the value of the discount code.

1. If the discount code gives the customer a greater saving on their order than the Fan Pass discount, Shopify will apply the discount code to the order and remove the Fan Pass discount saving the customer more money on their order.
2. If the discount code gives the customer a lesser saving on their order than the Fan Pass discount, Shopify will return an ‘invalid code’ error message at checkout and keep the Fan Pass discount applied, saving the customer more money on their order.
